An Introduction –

Hi there. I’m Vincent.

With 28 years as a compute infrastructure veteran, I bring a deep specialization in Linux system administration and automation. My career focus has always been on more than just maintenance—it’s about driving proactive scalability and efficiency.

My commitment to continuous learning is evidenced by my robust home lab, a real-world testing ground for cutting-edge technology, from single-board computers to a 64-thread server and a machine learning testbed.

I balance this technical depth with a unique approach to problem-solving. My passion for metalworking—developed by my love and participation in the Society for Creative Anacronism—provides a necessary mental reset and an incredibly grounding focus. I often find solutions to complex technical issues while engaged in this disciplined, manual creation.

Kampfzwerg?

(An amusing German Expression)

“battle dwarf” – A compact whirlwind of rage who can turn any situation into an epic battle.

To face facts, I am short. I am stocky. I enjoy fighting and metal and leather working – I am the essence of a classic Dwarf.
